Fr. STANLEY L. JAKI
(1924-2009)

on the History and Philosophy of Science

   Stanley L. Jaki.  A Benedictine priest, theologian and physicist Fr. Jaki was a Gifford Lecturer (1974-75, 1975-76) and in 1987 received the Templeton Prize.   He is the author of over fifty books, many of them on the history and philosophy of science and he has written books on the Catholic faith as well.  Most of these have been published by Real View Books.
   Real View Books is a publishing company established to print books that are significant to the understanding and defense of Christian doctrine and culture.

   Father Jaki died in Madrid (April 7, 2009), while on his way back to the USA, after having given lectures in Italy.
